When working with a client – no matter where they are – communication at Cavendo is a priority. We ensure all of our clients are “in the loop” when it comes to their web site project. We’ve successfully communicated and worked with clients not only locally in Virginia, but in distant areas such as Texas and the United Kingdom.
How do we do this? Cavendo has a multi-step approach to every client project that we take seriously.
Step One: Learning Your Needs
Before any proposals are signed or even talked about, we take the time to learn your needs. In other words, we sit down with you in person or over the telephone, and listen to what you want. We then inject our own thinking and brainstorming to help conceptualize what your web site should do and look like.
Step Two: Plugging You Into Our Client Management System
Cavendo uses Basecamp to manage all of our client web site projects. Using Basecamp, you can log into a secure web site and see all comments, milestones, to-do items, and files related to your project.
Step Three: Completing The Design
Once you have officially become a Cavendo client, we go to work creating a series of drafts or "mock-ups" for your new web site. The mock-up is your first view of your new web site and it gives you an opportunity to provide input before the project moves forward.
Step Four: Building Your Web Site
When the mock-up has been approved by you, our design and development teams put their heads together to start building your web site. A private web address is given to you to allow you to see the progress as it gets done. Your client representative will be in constant contact to answer questions and to gather your input. If necessary, a weekly in-person or telephone meeting will be established to review key milestones for your new web site.
Step Five: Pre-Launch
As the new web site nears its completion target date, we increase our efforts and communication with you to ready the web site for launch. Furthermore, we run through complete tests of the site in multiple environments to resolve any potential problems.
Step Six: Follow-up
Once the site has launched, we work closely with you over the following weeks to clear up any problems that arise or to implement any changes. When you sign a proposal with Cavendo, we guarantee your satisfaction by providing an allotment of free maintenance hours that you can use after the project has been completed.
Step Seven: Once a Cavendo Client, Always a Cavendo Client
Cavendo prides itself over maintaining close relationships with clients. Once you become a Cavendo client, we bend over backwards – even months or years after your web site has been launched – to ensure your success and satisfaction.
